Acrylic reverse painted on glass
Now based in Sydney I am a New Zealander who began my artistic career in the 1980’s making music videos and experimental short films. I studied cinematography in Sydney then moved to New York in the early ‘90’s where I worked at the Parsons School of Design and The New School. On returning to New Zealand I gained a BFA in time based media then continued on to Sydney to study painting at Julian Ashton and at The Royal Art Society. More recently I have exhibited in group shows in Sydney and Melbourne and nationally with The Publishers Cup Cricket prize.
